Alrite, today is Hari Raya Puasa. I wanna send my greetings to all Muslim ppl out there. Our church had an outdoor event today at St John's Island. Dad woke up early at 3am to prepare all the food. And I woke up at 5.45am. Argh! Cos, the meeting time for the ppl was 8am. Bathe and got changed. Prepared my stuffs and like that. Brought 2 vballs along w/ me.
Left the house at 6.30am as my dad went to send my sister to work first. It was sad that my sister couldnt follow us there and enjoy the fun. Went to Bukit Timah there to fetch 2 of my churchmates b4 we went to the Marina Pier.
Too bad for my dad, that he couldnt park the vehicle at the carpark cos the police said it was a Seasonal Parking and all that. And so dad had to park all the way to Maribay and take a shuttle bus back to Marina Pier. He dropped us at the Marina Pier first b4 parking. Pity my dad.
Anw, when I got to the Pier, lots of my churchmates and frens were alrdy there. So much noise were created by us. Waited for the rest of the youths b4 we took the ferry. All of us were in the same ferry.. It costed $5 to get to St John's. . But I didnt pay anything, dono who paid for me. =X HAHAs!
So, when we were in the ferry, Sheena was feeling giddy and wanted to vomit. LOLs! Seasick I guess.. Not only Sheena, me & Ken too. . But still, we took lotsa pics. It was a 30mins ride from the Pier to the Island.
Anw, for those who do not noe whr St John's Island, it's another part of S'pore in another island. Reached the Island at around 9am. Carried all our stuffs. Janice was in charge of the register. We had to register our names first b4 we could enter the event. I guess. . I was in the Green team at first, but changed to the Yellow team.
Went to settled down at the place, the others had alrdy arrived and settled down their food. Some were playing the guitar. For the starting of the event. I was asked to lead the Warm Up for the church. I stood in the center and did my vball warm up style. HAHAs! No prob at all !
Then, Bro Slim went to take over to do the Praise & Worship. After that, opening prayer.. And my dad arrived. He preached abit and den the games started. We played 2 games b4 having our lunch. For the 1st game, my team 1st got eliminated, but for the 2nd game, our team won. So, we were allowed to get our food first. LOLs!
After lunch, went to rest for awhile, played the guitar, and we went to have our bball game in the court. The bball court was like u're playing inside a Prison. Fences around u.. Played 3V3 and stopped for ahwile.. Den, we went back to the place, rested, drank lots of water. We didnt go back and play the games as we were too tired.
We den went to swim in the sea. Too many Seaweeds were in the sea water. Slimy. .HAHAs! Ken and ME were always digging onto the ground finding snails. And den we would den throw at the girls. And I would smash the shells and break them. =X After swimming for quite a long time, we decided to go back. .
The Music Team were asking the Youth to play bball w/ them, we told them to go ahead first as we jus got out of the sea. Norix & Me ate abit first b4 we changed back into our bball kit. After putting everythin, Me, Ken & Norix went to the bball court.
There was a friendly game against the Music Team Vs the Youth Team. HAHAs! The Music Team was much faster and stronger then us. We lost to them by a few points. Now I noe the difference between S'poreans playing bball and the Filipino's. S'porean's, their slow and their shooting accuracy ain't good as us.
Anw, played so long and all of us got tired. All of us den went to have our bath. Me & Ken went to bathe 2gether and were the last to finish. After bathing, we went to join some ppl taking pics. Then went to get changed and got ready to leave for Marina Pier.
When we took the ferry, all the Youths were separated from each other. This time, I sat outside the ferry, whr u can get to enjoy the breeze and the wind. The current was very strong that the ferry was always shaking so much. When we reached the Pier, I was the only person to be checked by the Police Officer. I guess it's bcos that my bag was the biggest and the first person to get out of the ferry.
When we got to the Pier, we sat down and played the guitar and chat chat. Waited for my parent's and other ppl as they were in another ferry. Ken and his family went off first. Sheena was still w/ us. When my parent's reached the Pier, we then started to move off. The rest took the Bus 402 and my family took the shuttle as my dad parked the vehicle there.
In the shuttle bus, it was a big bus yet there were only 6 of us there. So cool ! HAHAs! Anw, jus went home straight after that. Reached home about 8pm plus. Exhausted day.
